Meet Vanessa
I’m Vanessa Pippen and I’ve been on this self-care journey for several decades. It hasn’t always been easy, and I’ve wrestled in the beginning with routine consistency. After the unfortunate loss of my mother and maternal grandmother from cancer, I’ve been an advocate for the practice of self-care and nurture. Understanding that I’m worth the investment in myself, I strive to be intentional with applying that investment spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
In life we often encounter obstacles and challenges.
I believe that self-care is conducive to me taking the power of my life back and propelling into loving, compassionate, and healing emotions of self to be ultimately shared with others. Just as a butterfly gains their wings after time to themselves, I believe self-care is the catalyst for anyone to soar.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education and a MBA from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. I am an original member of Daniel’s Den Mentoring and Coaching Program. I am the proud mother of a daughter and son.
Some of my self-care favs include: exercising, dancing, affirmations, sunshine breaks, fresh cut flowers, candles, skincare, saying "no" and sister’s time.
I’m on a mission to make an indelible impact…may I be a person who introduces others to who they can be!
